Flat Jack is on the road again. This is his first trip without Mom. Flat Jack is visiting the United Methodist Church’s Western Jurisdictional Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He first arrived at his host family’s home in Oregon after an exciting journey with the U.S. Postal Service. (Jack has been a pen pal with the numerous cats who live with his host in Oregon.)
Next, off to Arizona. He quickly realized that he was overdressed for the climate in AZ, but he does look dashing. He was warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts at the conference.
Jack enjoyed a night out on the town with friends. His first look at Asian food. Yum!
Jack greatly enjoys the exhibit hall at the event.
Flat Jack is considering volunteering as a service dog for UMVIM.
Jack studies up on the business of the conference. He enjoys the speakers and the reading. But his favorite part is meeting new friends.
Thank you to Jack’s friend, travel guide, and host, Deborah!!
Good for you, Flat Jack! You certainly are getting to be well-traveled. Keep us all posted and enjoy your trip!

Thanks!!!
