Dear Friends,
I am writing you to recommend a Very Nice Advent Book that my mom Did Not Write. It is called All Creation Waits: The Advent Mystery of New Beginnings. It is by Gayle Boss and it has Really Neat Pictures by David G Klein.
Arya and I Like This Book because it is about Animals that could live in the Back Yard. We already have Turtles, Chickadees, Honey Bees, Chipmunks, Frogs, Raccoons, Bats, Opossums, and Snakes. We have seen Deer and Turkeys outside the Back Yard. We are not sure that we would like to have a Black Bear in the Back Yard. That might be dangerous. And Mom Says that we don’t live where there are Loons.
There are Really Pretty Pictures — Mom says they are Art — and Really Nice Stories. Mom is going to read the stories to us during Advent.
We thought we would tell you because You Might Like to Read the Stories and see the art, too.
We would like to say Thank You to Ms. Gayle Boss and to Mr. David G Klein for making the book. You can watch a cool video of some of the Art and Words on Amazon.
I have only one thing to say that could improve the book. I think that there could be more dogs. Or, More Specifically, more Scotties in the book. I think that Scotties would look Very Nice in Mr. Klein’s Art. 🙂
Best Wishes,
Jack (And Arya)
We will watch the video, it sounds very cool. We also think that Scotties would like very nice, ANYWHERE!
McDuff & Mom
Scotties are an excellent addition to books and houses and back yards!! ❤
I have been to this backyard you speak of and I can testify that there are loons all around. The fence may be keeping them out for now…
LOL — We are all laughing over here. 🙂
Dear Jack, though there are no Scotties in the book, there is a Welsh Corgi. Jessie often leads me to animals we need to watch. Does that count?
Dear Ms. Boss, that is Very Cool. Anyone who loves a Welsh Corgi is a Friend of Mine. Love, Jack
This is a delightful book – All Creation Waits: The Advent Mystery of New Beginnings. I may give it as gifts next year. It’s a very different Advent read. Thank you for highlighting it!
