Yes…undoubtedly Mr. P. Nut Squirrel, going after those HUGE nuts he hid last autumn in very deep holes…only…did he have time to stash nuts; he was busy campaigning and maligning one Very Good Dog and his Campaign Manager.
If we could see this Very Good Dog’s paws, might we see traces of soil or leaf matter? Was there good intention – like helping prepare the garden for planting? One must have holes to plant good stuff.
