Dear Diary,
This has been the Worst Day of my life.
I found the most Beautiful Smell in the Back Yard and rolled in it. When Mom got home, she said I had to have A Bath! She even washed my Collar!
Worst of all, My Brother Jack didn’t have to get A Bath. He was Scared, so he Hid in the Closet.
Now my Ears are Tickley.

Oh, Arya, do you have any idea what the smell came from? I am thinking a skunk, but you didn’t say you saw any animals. If you thought it was a beautiful smell and your Mom had to give you a bath, I suggest you DO NOT go back in the yard tomorrow or else you will be getting another bath!
Has Jack felt safe enough to come out of the closet yet?
It was something DEAD!!! Yuck! She will be supervised today, for sure. Jack finally came out of the closet. Poor guy. 🙂
Well, Arya, if you do get to play in the backyard tomorrow I have a feeling it won’t be unsupervised. You do look quite beautiful after your bath!

Just what Mom wanted to do after a long day at work – Wash a Smelly Dog. Arya, you have no idea what joy you bring to the family.
Might this Beautiful Smell be related to the early morning Varmint of recent telling?

We are not sure what it was, but we do know it was something DEAD!!
Was Jack in the closet due to the possibility of Bath or because Arya smelled so…..compelling? Jack has seen a lot of life. He knows when to retreat.
I think it was verra likely that he was avoiding her “perfume”!
